| Urbanization, Gender and Violence | Urbanization,urban space,gender and violence are my particular area of interests. I have deep fascination to research into how women are enjoying freedom of movement in the urban space of the megacities. Simultaneously I tend to explore different situations of harassment and violence inflicted upon women marginaliging their freedom in new urban space. My area of interest lies in how men are exercising masculinity against women in contemporary urban public space and women are negotiating with it. |
