The event will be held on 28 May 2024 from 09:30 AM to 06:00 PM, at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University ofDhaka. The theme of the 8th Urban Dialogue 2024 is “Resilient Cities towards LDC Graduation”.

Atiqul Islam, Honorable Mayor, of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has given his kind consent to be the Chief Guest at the inaugural session of the event. Md. Tazul Islam, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Local Government, RuralDevelopment and Cooperatives will be the Chief Guest and Md Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, Honorable Mayor, Sylhet CityCorporation will be the Special Guest at the concluding session. Prof. Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka, will be the Keynote Presenter and Chair for the Urban Dialogue.

In the inaugural, parallel, and concluding sessions, distinguished representatives from different government, non-government and private agencies, civil societies, and academia will participate along with development partners in interactive discussions to make a synergic and comprehensive way forward.
