The CCTV Surveillance System has been installed at the Arts Building and Lecture Theater Building of Dhaka University (DU). Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated it as the chief guest at a function held today January 31, 2016 at arts building premises.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman and other faculty members were present on this occasion.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain hoped that the newly installed CCTV Surveillance System would play an effective role to protect social misdeeds and maintain congenial academic atmosphere in the campus.
