Deputy Head of Mission of France Embassy in Bangladesh Mr. Jean-Pierre Poncet called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof.              Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, October 19, 2015 at latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Director of Alliance Francaise Mr. Bruno Plasse. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially regarding the progress of newly opened under graduate course on France Language at Dhaka University in cooperation with France Government and France Embassy. DU VC sought further help and cooperation specially some native teachers from France to run this course smoothly at DU. The possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and higher educational institutions in Franc were also discussed in the meeting.

The Vice-Chancellor thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in undertaking joint collaborative academic and research activities with DU.
