Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman says that it is a matter of great pride for us that Ms. Saima Wazed is Bangladesh's official candidate for the post of Regional Director of WHO-SEARO. She deserves this post because of her outstanding achievements and contributions to mental health sector especially her relentless researches and works on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As Regional Director of WHO-SEARO she will play a prominent role as a Public Health Diplomat, DU VC hopes.
