A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Dhaka (DU) and Police Staff College Bangladesh (PSC) was signed today February 06, 2024 at PSC to establish mutual collaboration and cooperation in the shape of training management and exchange of trainers and trainees between the two institutions. Treasurer of DU Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and Vice-Rector of PSC Md. Rezaul Haq signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution. Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Dr. A S M Maksud Kamal attended the MoU signing ceremony as chief guest. Rector of PSC Dr. Mollick Fakrul Islam presided over the function.

According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Police Staff College Bangladesh will jointly conduct researches and organize seminars, workshops, conferences on new ideas and innovations. Besides, the two institutions will share knowldge and experience for strengthening mutual cooperation.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. A S M Maksud Kamal thanked the authorities of Police Staff College Bangladesh for signing the MoU and hoped that this MoU would play pragmatic role to enhance academic and research activities between the two institutions. Both sides will be mutually benefitted by conducting short specialized training courses and undertaking collaborative programs, DU VC pointed out.

DU VC further said, this is an era of sharing knowledge and information. This MoU will help both institutions to invent new ideas and give effective solutions, he hoped.
