The Dhaka University Moot Court Society (DUMCS) team emerged victorious at the prestigious Asia Cup International Law Moot Court Competition 2023 in Tokyo, becoming the first South Asian team to claim this title. The winning team, consisting of Oishe Rahman, Rafid Azad Saumik, Tanha Tanzia, and Md. Fiaz Rabbani demonstrated exceptional legal acumen throughout the competition held on 22-23 August. Their comprehensive victory was underscored by multiple accolades, including the Best Applicant Memorial Award and the Third Best Respondent Memorial Award. Team member Rafid Azad Saumik further distinguished himself by securing the Third Best Applicant Oralist Award, adding to the team's impressive collection of honors at this esteemed regional competition.
