Raisa Imran Chowdhury is currently working as a lecturer at the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies (IDMVS), University of Dhaka. Besides, she is currently serving as the Regional Monitoring and Evaluation (M &E) Coordinator for Gender Responsive Resilience and Intersectionality in Policy and Practice (GRRIPP) South Asian Region, a collaborative knowledge sharing project led by University College London (UCL), the United Kingdom, and the University of Dhaka. She is a result-oriented and people-focused humanitarian worker with six (06) years of professional experience in disaster risk reduction (DRR), urban resilience, climate change adaptation, and gender-responsive projects. She is dedicated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines. Moreover, she is an excellent team builder and motivator with honed communication and analytical thinking skills. Passionate about community-engaged activities and the intersectional approach of research methodology. Likewise, Raisa has published research articles and book chapters in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
