Tasneem Chowdhury Fahim completed his Bachelor of Disaster Management (BDM) and Master of Disaster Management (MDM) at the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies (IDMVS), University of Dhaka. His MDM dissertation focused on the impact of the climate change on agriculture in the unique wetland ecosystem, known as Haor.

Mr. Fahim previously served as a Research Officer, specializing in climate change and water security, at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in a Green Climate Fund (GCF) funded flagship initiative. Prior to this role, he held the position of Climate Risk and Adaptation Monitor within the same UN agency. He worked as a Research Intern at the South Asian Institute of Social Transformation (SAIST) and also completed an internship at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief. Additionally, he actively contributed to several development and research organizations.

His research articles have been published in international peer-reviewed journals by Springer Nature Group and Sage Publishing. He is a regular contributor of op-eds to national dailies. Mr. Fahim's core research interests include climate change adaptation, climate policy, and water security.
