Mohammad Golam Sarwar (FCO UK Government Chevening & Commonwealth Scholar) currently, serving as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Law, University of Dhaka.
I have worked as a Research Consultant for University of Oxford under Reach Project on Clean River Policy in Urban Asia funded by DFID UK.
I have experince of working as a Legal Consultant in different UN Agencies and Development organizations including UNDP, UN WOMEN, ILO, IDLO, UNHCR, UNODC, Office of the UN Resident Coordinator, Swedwatch and FORUM-ASIA.
I have served as a Legal Consultant for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh. I have worked with the Ministries to prepare study reports and legal and policy briefs on different aspects of human rights, trade, investment, migration and trafficking.
I have studied International Development Law from University of Warwick with Chevening Scholarship. I studied Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from University of Dhaka.
My research interest includes International Human rights Law, Law and Development, business and human rights, Global Justice, Environmental Justice, Labour Rights, Refugee Rights etc.
