Sadik Hasan, Ph.D. (Sydney), is an Associate Professor of Public Administration at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. His research focuses on governance, e-governance, e-transparency, South Asian politics, local government, women in South Asia, and parliament. Dr. Hasan has extensively published research articles and book chapters on those issues nationally and internationally. He also authored a book titled “Women in Local Government in Bangladesh” in 2007. Dr. Hasan has long experience of conducting academic research, commissioned research, and assessing and evaluating different public and private sector projects and programs for various government agencies, e.g., Governance Innovation Unit, Prime Minister's Office; ICT Division, Anti-Corruption Commission, etc and developing partners, e.g., the UNDP, World Bank, USAID BMEL Activity, European Union Delegation, etc.
