On 2nd Dec 2023, Lamea Tanjin Tanha became one of the three young changemakers to be awarded as the "Young Humanitarian of the Year" at the 3rd Bangladesh Sustainability Excellence Award by The Daily Star and the CSR Window Bangladesh. She received this award for her contribution towards the grassroot gender-diverse community. She is the Founder of TransEnd which aims to uplift 1 million marginalized and underrepresented gender-diverse people in Bangladesh through Training, Healthcare, Employment and Entrepreneurship.
