3rd AGM and Reunion of DUCAA
The Dhaka University Chemistry Alumni Association (DUCAA) organized its 3rd Annual General Meeting and Reunion of the Alumni on 19th April 2024 at the TSC, University of Dhaka. Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Samad, Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Science, inaugurated the program as the Special Guest of the day. The Chairman of the Department, Professor Dr. Md. Qamrul Ehsan, chaired the program. A huge number of alumni of the department, one of the oldest of the University, attended the program and made it a big success.
In the morning session, along with valuable speech from the distinguished guests, the association paid respect to five of its members as recognition of their significant contribution to their respective fields, namely Professor Gias Uddin Ahmed, Professor M. Muhibur Rahman, Professor Abul Khair, Professor Amir Hossain Khan, and Mr. Abdullah Harun Pasha (retired Secretary of the Govt. of Bangladesh). In the afternoon, the 3rd AGM of the association was held and a new executive committee was formed with Professor Dr. Md. Aftab Ali Shaikh as the new Secretary General of the association.
The day-long event came to an end with gorgeous cultural events offered by the alumni.
