South Korean Ambassador in Bangladesh AHN Seong-doo called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today February 11, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. First Secretary of the same Embassy Park Mi Seol and Acting Librarian of DU Library Prof. Dr. S.M. Zabed Ahmed were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they stressed the need for strengthening bi-lateral relationship between Bangladesh and Korea. The Vice-Chancellor sought cooperation from Korean Ambassador to establish a Green House for biological research at Dhaka University with the financial assistance and technical support from KOICA. The Ambassador assured the VC of providing all possible cooperation in this regard.

Later, Korean Ambassador handed over 30 computers to the Vice-Chancellor for the Cyber Center of DU Library.
