Foreign Student Admission Fee Guidelines

The following tuition and development fees apply to foreign students admitted to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka. These rates were set in the Coordination & Development (C&D) Committee meeting held on July 25, 2022:

• 1. Tuition Fees
  • i. For Students from SAARC Countries: 50 USD per credit
  • ii. For Students from Other Countries: 100 USD per credit
• 2. Departmental Development Fee
  • i. All Foreign Students: 100 USD per year
• 3. University Admission Fees

  In addition to the departmental tuition and development fees, all foreign students are required to pay the university admission fees as per the University of Dhaka’s regulations.

• 4. Program Structure and Payment Schedule
  • i. Total Undergraduate Degree Requirement: 150 credits
  • ii. Number of Semesters: 8 semesters (4 years)
  • iii. Fee Payment Schedule: Students are required to pay the tuition, development, and admission fees at the beginning of each semester.
