World Meteorological Day 2024, with the theme "At the Frontline of Climate Action," is set to take place at the Department of Meteorological Sciences in the University of Dhaka. It's great to hear that the event will be graced by esteemed guests, including Prof. Dr. Md. Zillur Rahman, the Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Dhaka, AVM (Retd.) Prof. Dr. Ajit Tyagi, the President of SAMA, and Professor Dr. Someshwar Das, the Secretary of Sama. The event will be jointly organized by the South Asian Meteorological Association (SAMA), Bangladesh Chapter, the Meteorological Department of the University of Dhaka, and the National Oceanographic and Maritime Institute (NOAMI).
