Certificate Course on Climate Change and Public Health (CCPH) June – August 2024 (2nd Cohort)
Department of Disaster Science and Climate Resilience (DSCR), University of Dhaka and Climate Change and Health Promotion Unit (CCHPU), Health Services Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, in collaboration with Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), have taken initiative to launch a professional certificate course titled “Climate Change and Public Health”. DSCR is inviting prospective applicants for admission to the 3-month professional “Certificate Course on Climate Change and Public Health”.
Number of Seats: 40
Course Fee: 50000/- (30 Seats will get full free Scholarship)
Course Duration: 03 Months (June - August 2024)
Class Schedule: Friday and Saturday.
Qualifications: At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience and interest in climate change and public health.
Last date of submission: 27 May 2024
*Due to extreme weather, the submission time has been extended to 30 May 2024.

Selection Process:
Selection Process for the Program is Based on the Following Criteria:
Academic Performance (Honors' Result) - 5 Marks
Previous Work Experience - 5 Marks
Relevance of Background and Expertise in Climate Change and Public Health Field - 5 Marks
Admission Test (MCQ) - 35 Marks
Total - 50 Marks
Admission Test Mark Distributions:
The 35 Marks for the Admission Test are Distributed as Follows:
General Knowledge, Bangladesh Studies, and English - 10 Marks
Knowledge and Understanding of Climate Change and Its Impact on Public Health - 25 Marks
Total - 35 Marks
Time: 50 Minutes
Admission Test will be Held on 01 June 2024 (Saturday) at 2.30 pm to 3.20 pm.
Note: The acknowledgement part will be used as your Admit Card. Please make sure to bring it on the day of admission.

Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be evaluated based on their Academic Records, Professional Experiences, Subject Matter Relevance, and Performance in the admission test covering General Knowledge, Bangladesh Studies, English, and a comprehensive assessment of their understanding of climate change and its impact on public health.
