The Department of Printing and Publication Studies is one of the few latest disciplines that have been inducted in the academic program of the University of Dhaka. The department has got the endorsement of University Grants Commission (UGC) on May 12, 2015. The department commenced its formal academic program from January 2017 with launching 18 months Professional Master's Program (2016-2017) spanning for three semesters (six months each). The Professional Master's program for first batch (2016-17) has already completed and for 2nd and 3rd batch is still running.
