Integrating Gender & Nutrition Within. Agricultural Extension Systems (INGENAES) of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and The Department of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Dhaka is conducting four research projects together on various aspects of agricultural extension services as part of the project. This research aims to assist Feed the Future missions to strengthen gender and nutrition integration within agricultural extension and advisory services (EAS).
Promundo-US, Center for Men and Masculinity Studies (CMMS) and Department of Women and Gender Studies (DWGS), University of Dhaka conducting an action research known as The Campus Hero Café project. This research project aims to engage young men and boys in the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights and the prevention of violence in Bangladesh.
Plan International Bangladesh and the Department of Women and Gender studies conducted a participatory research and action learning on challenges, dreams, and visions of girls and women in the city. The research BIAAG Urban project implemented in Dhaka Urban slum in particular in Shyampur community with a wider BIAAG campaign in urban educational institutes and media agency. This research contributes towards reducing violence against children (including child marriage) in Dhaka through the empowerment of youth and media professionals to take action.
